Walterboro Safety Seminar: Interruptions and Distractions

In this presentation, FAASTeam Representatives Chris Peterson and Charles McManus will introduce Aeronautical Decision Making (ADM) and utilizing ADN while dealing with distractions and interruptions. Although written from the pilot’s perspective, ADN can support managing distractions and interruptions in a variety of aspects our life.

The presentation will peer into common distractions we face every day and focus on those we encounter in the aviation environment.

Throughout and at the conclusion the presenter will offer suggestions and best practices for dealing with distractions and interruptions and elicit feedback from the attendees.

Credit Applicability: 1 Credit for WINGS Basic Knowledge Topic 3
WINGS credit is available for this program. If you wish to receive WINGS credit for attending this seminar please create an FAAsafety.gov account.
