Safety Seminar: Use of Weather Information

Pilots enjoy an abundance of weather information sources, but having weather information available is only part of the weather decision-making equation. Knowing how to acquire, interpret, and make operational decisions based on weather information is essential to safe flying. This interactive seminar and discussion includes:

  1. Use of Weather Information
  2. Planning the Flight
  3. Pitfalls of the sources and weather in general
  4. Best Practices

Directions: Enter Charleston Executive /Johns Island Airport (off River Road) through main entrance.  At the 4-way stop, continue straight (Coast Guard Station on left, New FBO on right).  Take a left just past the fuel farm and park in the next parking area approximately 100 yards down.  Enter door with overhead awning – presentation in common area.
