Safety Seminar: UAS Recreational Flyer Outreach-NPP49

This presentation will cover the 2018 FAA Reauthorization Act and changes to Recreational UAS flying rules. We will talk about controlled and uncontrolled airspace, and the requirements for recreational flying in each of these.
We will discuss registration requirements for your UAS, FAA Approved Fixed Sites, obtaining Authorizations for flying in controlled airspace, via LAANC or through the FAA Portal. We will also talk about the upcoming FAA Aeronautical Knowledge Test for Recreational UAS Flyers.
This presentation will give recreational flyers the information they need to fly safely, in the National Airspace System, and be in compliance with the latest rule changes.
