Airports in South Carolina support the state’s economy and are themselves economic generators. All types of businesses in South Carolina rely on aviation and commercial service and general aviation airports for the efficient transport of people and goods.
The SCAA Annual Conference is a statewide forum for airport professionals, aviation industry leaders and pilots to meet from around the state and receive industry updates from entities such as the FAA, SC Aeronautics Commission, TSA, NTSB and more. Educational seminars are provided throughout the event with a focus on pilot education, FBO’s, Airport Managers and Airport Commissioners.
The South Carolina Aviation Association (SCAA) is proud to announce the SCAA Ambassadors Passport Program. The program is designed to encourage pilots to fly to all of the airports in South Carolina and visit aviation seminars and the Southeast Aviation Expo. We plan to increase awareness of South Carolina’s aviation system and contribute to the economic development activities of each locality by getting pilots to fly to airports and events they may not normally visit.
The SCAA maintains a calendar of aviation events in South Carolina and nationally. Visit the calendar page to view the list of upcoming events in aviation. You can also submit your event to be placed on our calendar.
